Why isn't my controller charging with my fast charger?

The controller features built-in Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) to help protect the charging circuitry.

If a high-wattage fast charger is connected, the controller may not display a charging indicator because the OVP safety feature is preventing excessive current from entering the device.

Simply switch to a standard or lower-power USB charger, and charging will resume normally.

Can I use a USB-C to USB-C charging cable?

Yes. The controller is compatible with USB-C to USB-C charging, making it convenient to charge using many modern USB-C chargers.
